My blog friend, Veronica, recently posted about a fun idea for Party Favors for Teens on her site, Life in the Thrifty Lane Apparently, it is now her most popular post and it’s been pinned a ton on Pinterest, too! It was a really great idea, I sure would have loved to get a gift like that when I was a teen!
I just found a book that is filled with ideas similar to Veronica’s teen favors. It is called, Giving Thanks: Fun & Quick Ways to Say Thank You, and it includes easy steps to make attractive gifts with themed wrapping, tags and more. It has lots of ideas for gifts to give to anyone that has been a help to you, like teachers, friends and family or even the mailman!
Presents like chocolate swirled peanut butter frozen cookie dough are wrapped up like a gift and given a thank you tag along with instructions. Mini quick breads are easily wrapped up and tagged with a sweet message. I really liked the “Fixin’ Up a Thank You” idea where a metal bucket is filled with Nuts and Bolts Snack Mix (similar to Chex Mix) and is ready to give to your favorite handyman. I’m sure my husband would enjoy that particular treat quite a bit!
Making up a batch of your favorite soup mix or pre-made soup is another excellent gift to give that anyone would really appreciate. Put it in a pretty jar and add a ribbon and a cute tag to make it extra special! I loved all of the simple, yet eye-catching suggestions in Giving Thanks: Fun & Quick Ways to Say Thank You!
